Jamison is one month old and we can't believe it! This month has flown by! Every day in the NICU is a big day and his progress has been remarkable. Being at one point a little 3 lb 7 oz baby at the beginning of his journey, and now a month later, 5 lbs 9 oz, he is quickly growing into a big boy. Though there have been many obstacles for him to overcome, we look back over the month and are amazed with his strength to keep at it. Between the CPAP and the IVs, the bottle feeding and open crib, this boy is working hard. He has outgrown most of his preemie clothes and now wants to be held ALL. THE. TIME. We can't get enough of his snuggles and just spend hours looking at him. The nurses are getting in some good baby snuggles while we're gone because Jamison is not a fan of his bed. Jamison loves to eat, to stretch, his binky, to hold dad's finger, and be held. He dislikes being put down, being cold, having his temperature taken, and having his diaper changed. We don't know exactly why you wanted or needed to come early, but we love having you here and can't imagine life with you. We love you, Jamison Walter Couch!
I love him so much! One month already! What a milestone and he has already accomplished so much! Off the cpap, off the IV, bottle feedings, out of the warmer box, doesn't want to be laid down, loves his binky, loves mommy and daddy and wakes as soon as he hears your voice, first smile. Wow! What milestones he has accomplished in 1 month! You two are amazing parents and he loves you both so much! Happy One Month Jamison!!! Woohoo!
